You will develop engaging and impactful communications aligned with business objectives and Sony’s core values, while helping strengthen our visibility and reputation across PR, influencer marketing, and social media.

You Will

  • Lead and execute PR campaigns aligned with business priorities (product launches, innovation, corporate reputation, partnerships, CSR), from ideation to delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong media relationships across Spain and Portugal, including top-tier contacts in technology, business, lifestyle, and consumer media.
  • Develop and manage an influencer ecosystem, identifying relevant creators (tech, lifestyle, entertainment), leading briefing, negotiation, and performance tracking.
  • Plan and deliver PR-driven events and launch moments (press events, media briefings, influencer activations), ensuring high impact, strong attendance, and media coverage.
  • Turn business and product milestones into compelling stories, ensuring consistent messaging across media, influencers, and social channels.
  • Own the PR and influencer calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing and business objectives.
  • Own and lead the social media strategy across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, etc.), ensuring alignment with PR and influencer campaigns.
  • Provide guidance and direction to junior resources (e.g. intern) supporting day-to-day social media execution.
  • Identify and secure speaking opportunities, events, and partnerships to increase brand visibility and thought leadership.
  • Manage relationships with key external stakeholders, including agencies, partners, and relevant organizations.
  • Support crisis communications and issues management when needed.
  • Manage budgets and external agencies, ensuring efficient and high-quality execution.

You Will Bring

  • University degree, additional training, or equivalent qualification in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, PR, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in PR, communications, influencer marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in corporate PR, media relations, and campaign execution.
  • Hands-on experience managing influencer campaigns end-to-end.
  • Experience defining and leading social media strategy and content direction.
  • Strong storytelling and writing skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into engaging narratives.
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
  • Experience managing multiple internal stakeholders and aligning them around common objectives.
  • Experience briefing and managing agencies and external partners.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented mindset
  • Interest in technology, entertainment, and consumer products.
  • Fluent Spanish and excellent spoken and written English. Portuguese will be valued.
